A man who has never gone to school may steal from a freight car; but if he has a[n] ... education, he may steal the whole railroad."
~ President Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt

Dear Educators,

Over the years that I have been working on this website, I've gotten emails from teachers, librarians, and other educators thanking me for the help I inadvertantly gave to their students on a class project. Often, I would get a request to add something to the site, commonly another resource that a student used. I am happy to oblige.

First off, thank you for these nice notes. When I started this website for the LHRR, I never thought I'd be helping anyone but maybe the rogue modeler or two. I am very glad to know that I am able to help with someone's education along with those who lead and guide them. That brings me to you, the educator, the one who spends all their free time creating lesson plans, grading assignments, buying things for their students with their own money... Thank you for all you do.

When I was in school, I had some incredible teachers, ones who went the extra mile and really made learning fun. Those are the teachers I won't forget. I cannot give back to them, but perhaps I can help today's teachers. Please, feel free to use any part of my website in your classes. I have compiled my builds into concise How-To Builds under the "Resources" tab for just this purpose. I am sure there is something that can help a student grow. Otherwise, please check out my history section. This is the part that has most been used by others.

If you do use anything from my site, I want to hear how it went! Feel free to send me an email anytime. Comments, suggestions, and critiques are always appreciated.

Thank you for all that you do.

Wishing you all the best,
~ John W.
